1. Agreement

By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use and to all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Humpherys Design Company ("we," "us").

2. Estimates are not quotes

The cost estimator on this site produces a rough estimate based on the square footage and options you enter. It is provided for planning purposes only. It is not a quote, a bid, or an offer to perform work at that price. Actual pricing is confirmed in writing after a consultation and may differ from the estimate.

3. No design advice through the site

Content on this site is general information about our services. It is not design, engineering, legal, or code-compliance advice for any specific project. Building codes vary by jurisdiction. Nothing on this site creates a client relationship. A client relationship begins only when both parties sign a written agreement.

4. Service area

We provide residential drafting services to clients located outside the State of Nevada. We do not offer or provide services for projects located in Nevada. Where a jurisdiction requires drawings to be prepared or stamped by a licensed architect or engineer, the client is responsible for engaging that professional.

5. Intellectual property

All text, images, graphics, drawings, and code on this site belong to Humpherys Design Company or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse site content without our written permission. Plans and drawings we prepare for clients remain our copyrighted work unless a written agreement says otherwise. Clients receive a license to build one home from the plans purchased.

6. Your submissions

Information you send through our contact form is used to respond to you and to evaluate your project. See our Privacy Policy. Do not send confidential material through the contact form. You agree not to submit anything unlawful, false, or harmful, or to use the site or its forms for spam or automated queries.

7. Disclaimer

This site and its content are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the site or the estimator, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The site may contain typographical or technical errors, and we may change content at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Humpherys Design Company is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or the information on it, including reliance on an estimate. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nevada.
